I had the pups over Hardwick Park last night, the park was empty because it was a bit foggy and wet. Emma was out for a walk with her mam and dad they don't live in the same house so where keeping the 2 metres. I love this photo of them I've known them all for years.
I had the pups over Hardwick Park tonight it was a beautiful night when I was going back to the car I noticed the people that were silhouetted against the strong sunlight. They are all actually social distancing just talking and a different distances from each other and not in a line at all. I love this photo it's one of my favourite photos ever, hope you all like it too.
I have been over Hardwick Park quite a bit this last week or so with the pups. I noticed this lone swan drifting past with the Hardwick Hall Hotel in the background and made a lovely tranquil scene on a beautiful day.
I have often looked at this building and thought it was very quaint so while there hasn't been much traffic around I took advantage and took a photo of it. I had toned the image so it looks classically aged which I personally think adds to the image
I called over to Hardwick Hall this morning, it was a beautiful morning before anyone else was in the park. When I drove down the drive to the hall I noticed how splendid it looked without all the cars parked in front of it. I wish it wasn't the case because of the awful spot everyone is in. I hope this reminds everyone what a great place this is and I cannot wait till it opens again for business and we are all in a better time and back to normal, stay strong and look after each other.... Till me meet again !!
I had the pups over Hardwick Park this week i'm in the process of self isolating as much as I can so spending quite a bit of time walking the pups. Love this bench with a view its in a lovely part of the park overlooking the Neptune sculpture.
I had the pups over Hardwick Park for a very chilly, blowy morning but they didn't mind they never do.
Love the hazy sun and clouds on this toned the colours
Taken with Fuji X100F
I love these trees with the two pathways in Hardwick Park with the morning light streaming through them. I have toned the photo so you just concentrate on their lovely pattern of light and dark tones to just show the trees in all their glory.
This is a view over the fields at Sedgefield looking towards Hardwick Hall, I took this February 24th when we had a good cover of snow that disappeared as quickly as it come.
A cold stormy winters day just off the A66 on the way to Cumbria. You can see the snow on the tops of the fells looking towards Alston area, it was a bright winters day and the silver birch was glowing in the winter sun.
A cold stormy winters day on Withersea beach, the clouds look menacing but its such a tranquil scene with one couple holding hands and a lone dog walker exercising his little dog.
Took this photo of this great wall art at gateshead, there was several pictures all along the wall but I feel this one stood out. I haven't seen this wall before and was quite a surprise to see in the town. I love it in black and white it intensifies the subject.
Took this today when on the way home from Hartlepool took the scenic route the sky looked quite interesting and cried out for black and white. I personally think that metal work nearly always looks better in black and white.
Well here is my first photo of my new project for 2020, who would think that we are in the "roaring twenties" as Tony Blackburn said tonight on the "Golden Hour" radio 2. I went to Durham for a look about and a bit of shopping today it was freezing but two overcoats warmer if you were in the sunshine. Took this photo of these two ladies taking their dog for a walk while I was waiting for Elaine outside of Waterstones.
Well let's see where this year takes us, as many of you will already know that follow me I have done other photography projects before. I haven't totally decided exactly what I am going to do this year so it's quite an open brief but as well as landscapes etc I am planning on showing everyday life. I think I will publish one photo per week for the project to start with but I could possible post more dependant on circumstances. I do hope you follow it again because I get a lot of satisfaction from all the comments etc, well heres to another great year of photographs come along for the ride Thanks John Lily and Luna are looking their best and on the look out for some more shots. Here's to a great 2020 and lots of photo opportunities.
